The terms & conditions below will be deemed as acceptable unless notice is given to Atlas Language Services, Inc. at (815) 479-1600 or (888) 816-0577 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Interpretation – Legal/Medical/Community
All assignments require a 24-hour notice of cancellation or change (excluding holidays and weekends). If an assignment is cancelled or changed with less than 24-hours notice, the minimum fee will be billed. Please note that this fee will vary depending on the location, language, and length of the assignment.
Interpretation – Simultaneous/Conference
All simultaneous conference interpretation assignments will be bound by the contractual terms and conditions agreed to in the originating contract and signed by both parties.
Sign Language Interpreters
All Sign Language assignments require a 48-hour notice of cancellation or change (excluding holidays and weekends). If an assignment is cancelled or changed with less than 48-hours notice, the minimum fee will be billed. Please note that this fee will vary depending on the location, sign language dialect and length of the assignment.
All Sign Language interpreters require a partner if the assignment is expected to last 2-hours or more.
Once a translation is started, any work that is completed will be billed at the agreed upon per word fee, regardless of the cancellation time.
Copy write Notice and Translation Disclaimer
The copy write of the translation associated with this invoice is not released until the full amount is paid. The client will be notified of their liability for unauthorized use of copyrighted materials if this invoice is not paid within 60 days. The translation represents the translator's best effort and is provided without any warranty, express or implied. In no event does Atlas Language Services, Inc. or the translator warrant that the translation is error free. In no event shall Atlas Language Services, Inc. and/or the translator be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use this translation.
